The Role We are seeking a highly technical, client-facing delivery leader to be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, working closely with major banking and fintech institutions in the Kingdom. This is not a purely project management or account management role. The successful candidate will combine strong technical depth with commercial awareness and structured delivery discipline. You will act as the trusted technical counterpart to senior stakeholders within banks and fintechs, ensuring complex integrations and platform capabilities are delivered to the highest standard. You must be comfortable operating in regulated banking environments, engaging with senior stakeholders, and translating deeply technical discussions into clear execution plans. Key Responsibilities • Own and manage the full client relationship lifecycle • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the Staq technical team • Ensure client requirements are clearly communicated and understood by the delivery team • Monitor project health, timelines and deliverables • Escalate risks and issues to the Growth Team as needed • Conduct regular client status meetings and reporting • Drive client satisfaction and retention initiatives • Collaborate with the Growth Team on account expansion opportunities Qualifications & Experience • 5+ years of experience in client-facing technical delivery, technical project management, or structured consulting environments (non-negotiable) • Strong technical qualification (Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline preferred) (non-negotiable) • Experience working with major banks or fintech institutions in Saudi Arabia • Background in Big Four consulting (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) or similar structured advisory environments is highly advantageous • Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, system integrations, APIs, and technical architecture • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements • Experience operating in regulated banking or financial services environments • PMP, Scrum Master or equivalent certification preferred • Arabic and English fluency required • Willingness to be based full-time in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Key Competencies • Highly technical and analytical, able to challenge and validate architecture decisions • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders within banks and regulated institutions • Structured thinker with strong documentation and delivery discipline • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills • Organized and proactive, able to anticipate issues and drive resolution • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-style environment with shifting priorities What Would Make Someone Excellent in This Role • Prior involvement in banking system integrations, payments infrastructure, or fintech platform implementations • Experience leading delivery within Saudi banking transformation or digital banking initiatives • Ability to simplify technical complexity into clear client narratives that build trust • Strong ownership mindset — treating client success and delivery as personal accountability • Strong project management skills • Proficiency with project tracking and support tools We will be progressing shortlisted candidates immediately and aim to conclude technical interviews by mid-February, as this is a business-critical hire.
