About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking the services of an experienced Technical Business Systems Analyst Consultant to join a high-impact Treasury Analytics technology team supporting critical risk and regulatory data platforms used across Canada and the US.
The role offers exposure to large-scale Spark / Hadoop environments, complex financial data, and initiatives ranging from new data feed onboarding to cloud migration and regulatory reporting.
Services to be Provided:
• Supporting and enhancing a large-scale Hadoop / Spark platform used for Treasury analytics and regulatory reporting
• Partnering with Treasury and Capital Markets stakeholders to translate business and regulatory requirements into technical and data requirements
• Onboarding new data feeds and validating data quality, completeness, and accuracy
• Using Spark SQL / SQL to analyze, reconcile, and troubleshoot complex datasets
• Supporting regulatory and risk-driven initiatives and ongoing BAU production processes
• Leading delivery activities including estimation, UAT coordination, and release support
• Collaborating closely with developers, data engineers, and other BSAs in a fast-paced environment
Expertise Required:
• Senior-level experience as a Technical Business Systems Analyst or Data-focused BSA
• Hands-on experience with Big Data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Databricks)
• Strong SQL / Spark SQL skills for data analysis and validation
• Experience onboarding data feeds and working with data lakes
• Background supporting testing, UAT, and production issues
• Strong stakeholder communication and delivery leadership skills
• Experience in financial services, banking, capital markets, or treasury environments is highly preferred
Nice-to-have:
• Exposure to Treasury, liquidity, or risk data
• Experience supporting regulatory or compliance reporting
• Azure cloud experience (Data Lake, Databricks, Synapse)
