Position: Technical Analyst (C#/ASP.Net developer)

About the Engagement
We are seeking a highly experienced and results‑driven Senior .NET Developer to support a large‑scale transformation within the pensions regulatory environment. This consultant will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise‑grade web applications that enable business‑critical operations. The role requires deep expertise in ASP.NET Web Forms, C#, DevExpress UI components, and secure, scalable architecture.
This engagement supports key modernization initiatives within the pensions oversight space and requires strong analytical, collaborative, and architectural capabilities.
Services to be Provided
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET Web Forms and C#.
• Implement, customize, and optimize DevExpress UI components for rich, responsive user experiences.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver high‑quality, secure solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security across all layers of the stack.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across integrated systems.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to long‑term modernization strategy.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation aligned with coding standards.
• Translate stakeholder data requirements into effective application solutions.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Cyber Security teams to ensure compliance with security posture expectations.
• Ensure solution compliance with organizational IT policies and contribute to efficient system integrations.
• Participate in Change Management activities to support efficient transformation and communication.
Expertise Required
• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience in .NET development.
• Strong proficiency in ASP.NET Web Forms, C#, and SQL Server.
• Extensive experience configuring and customizing DevExpress components.
• Deep understanding of object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and enterprise architecture.
• Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and front‑end integrations.
• Proficiency with source control systems such as Git or TFS.
• Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of security roles, data access controls, and Dataverse administration.
• Experience integrating data across systems using APIs and connectors.
• Familiarity with supervisory processes and regulatory systems used in pension plans (asset).
• Strong interpersonal, advisory, and communication abilities for effective collaboration and risk‑mitigation guidance.
Nice to Have
• Prior experience working with regulatory systems or pension‑related environments.
• Experience supporting modernization or transformation initiatives.
• Background in cyber‑security compliant development practices.
