Tech Services Engineer, Regional Data & Technology Team
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• On-site Event Support: Provide IT support during exhibitions and trade shows, including support for registration counters, operation offices and show teams, ensuring smooth event operations.
• Registration Tech Management: Source, maintain and ensure registration and check-in technologies (QR scanners, badge printers, kiosks, apps) are up-to-date and meet quality standards for on-site use.
• In-house Support: Deliver technical support services for the Hong Kong office, including desktops, laptops, peripherals and meeting-room systems.
• Remote Support: Provide remote technical assistance for users across the Asia region, using remote tools and the corporate ticketing system.
• ITSM & Ticketing: Handle incident and request tickets in line with ITIL processes, including proper logging, prioritisation and follow-up until resolution.
• Asset Management: Maintain and track IT assets (event loan devices, printers, network equipment), ensuring availability for events and proper return and record updates afterwards.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Operating Systems: Proficient in Microsoft Windows desktop and macOS environments.
• Enterprise IT: Good knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows client/server environment and Microsoft 365 (O365).
• ITSM & Tools: Familiar with ITIL-based support flows, with hands-on experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticketing tools.
• Communication: Strong communication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and event operation teams.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, able to work independently and stay calm under time pressure during live events.
• More extensive experience candidate will be considered as a more senior title.
