Position: Tech Lead Manager (Full Stack) Our client, a category-defining AI platform company based in the San Francisco Bay Area, is seeking a Tech Lead Manager (Full Stack),to lead a high-impact team building the next generation of AI-powered product experiences. In this hands-on role, you’ll guide a team building core product capabilities and foundational infrastructure, while also designing elegant abstractions that enable multiple teams to safely and efficiently contribute to generative AI features. This is a rare opportunity to influence product direction, architecture, and team culture while working on one of the most exciting applied AI products in the market. What You’ll Be Doing: • Lead, grow, and inspire a high-performing full-stack engineering team, fostering a culture of inclusion, excellence, and ownership. • Remain hands-on in the codebase, contributing to system design and implementation of critical features. • Set and communicate a clear technical vision across a broad and evolving problem space. • Partner closely with Product, Design, and Data Science to ship world-class AI Assistant experiences. • Drive execution across both product features and foundational platform capabilities in a fast-paced environment. • Architect scalable abstractions and frameworks that make it easy for other teams to build generative AI functionality. • Own hiring efforts including headcount planning, interview process iteration, and closing top-tier candidates. • Coach and mentor engineers at all levels, supporting performance, growth, and career progression. What You’ll Need To Be Successful: • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 1-2 years in an engineering management or tech lead manager role. • Demonstrated experience building high-quality, user-facing web products across the full stack (frontend, APIs, backend). • Strong people leadership capabilities with a proven ability to recruit, organize, and motivate teams. • Passion for developing others and building healthy, collaborative engineering cultures. • Product-focused, owner mindset with deep care for customer impact and craftsmanship. • Experience with modern web and cloud technologies such as React, Type Script, Golang, SQL, GCP, and/or AWS. • Experience with, or strong interest in learning, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI agents. Compensation Expectations: $240,000 - $300,000 + Equity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
