We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced FSQA Supervisor to join our food manufacturing team on 2nd shift. This role is responsible for overseeing food safety and quality programs, leading the FSQA Technician team, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal standards. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to a fast-paced production environment. salary: $65,000 - $84,000 per year shift: Second work hours: 2 PM - 10:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities • Supervise and support FSQA Technicians to ensure effective implementation of food safety and quality procedures. • Monitor and enforce compliance with all applicable food regulations, including local, state, and federal requirements. • Maintain and update the Quality Management System (QMS), including procedures, records, GMPs, and the Food Safety Plan. • Ensure compliance with GFSI standards such as SQF or BRC. • Partner with operations, maintenance, sanitation, and warehouse teams to maintain food safety and quality throughout production. • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions in response to customer complaints or product nonconformities. • Manage daily documentation, reporting, and internal inspections for all areas of the facility. • Hold product as needed for food safety or quality concerns and oversee proper documentation and release procedures. • Participate in sensory evaluations, audits, and environmental monitoring programs. • Support employee development through training, skills tracking, and performance management. • Act as a technical resource for audits and serve as backup to the FSQA Manager when necessary. • Promote and participate in a strong food safety culture throughout the facility.
