Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot to join a leading financial services client in Montreal. This role requires hands-on backend development experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and enhance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Work with RDBMS databases for data integration and querying.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support when needed.
Must-Have Skills
• Strong experience with Java
• Hands-on expertise in Spring Boot
• Experience working with relational databases (RDBMS)
• Background working in financial services or wealth management (preferred)
