The Opportunity:
• We are working with a pioneering space technology company developing next-generation RF and satellite communication systems. Their team of engineers is building high-performance hardware and software for advanced aerospace and defense applications.
The Role
• They are seeking an FPGA Engineer to design, implement, and verify gateware for custom RF and space-qualified systems. The role involves close collaboration with DSP, hardware, and software teams from prototype through deployment.
Responsibilities
• Develop and test FPGA designs in SystemVerilog.
• Implement and optimize DSP algorithms on FPGA/SoC platforms.
• Support hardware integration, debug, and verification.
• Contribute to product design reviews and documentation.
Key Qualifications
• Strong experience with FPGA design and Xilinx toolchains.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog and FPGA verification.
• Understanding of DSP fundamentals and high-speed interfaces.
• U.S. citizenship or export-license eligibility required.
Nice to Have
• Experience with embedded C/C++, Python scripting, and hardware debug tools.
• Familiarity with high-reliability or space-grade systems.
