The Role
As a Lead Python Developer, you will be an essential member of a small, high-performing team tasked with developing scalable backend systems and data-driven products. You'll be instrumental in shaping architecture decisions, promoting engineering best practices, and collaborating across teams to deliver impactful features quickly.
What You'll Be Doing
• Creating and maintaining reliable, high-performance services in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
• Leading architectural discussions and mentoring junior developers
• Working closely with product, data, and design teams to turn ideas into reality
• Building scalable systems on cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Enhancing quality through automation, testing, and CI/CD practices
About You
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python software development
• Strong knowledge of backend development, APIs, and distributed systems
• Experienced in fast-paced or high-growth startup environments
• Proficient with cloud infrastructure and container technologies (Docker / Kubernetes)
• A proactive problem solver who enjoys taking ownership and working autonomously
