Systems Engineer Operational Technologies
Vancouver Airport Authority is looking for a Systems Engineer to join their Baggage Operations Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Determining technical requirements
• Leading technical decisions and projects
• Managing operational activities
• Guiding resources
• Conducting root cause analysis
• Managing vendor relationships
• And more.
Key qualifications include:
• A minimum of 2 years of Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Technology, Automation, Mechatronics, or a combination
• A minimum of 4 years of recent relevant experience in SCADA systems
• Proven experience in virtual platforms, project and vendor management
• Script writing for data analysis
• Expert knowledge of technologies underlying SCADA/PLC
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organization and coordination abilities
The position is open to both Vancouver Airport Authority employees and external applicants. The salary range is from $86,326 to $112,823 per annum based on a 40-hour work week.
