Our client, a reputable financial institution, is looking for an experienced system engineer specialising in Windows server support.
Your Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first point of contact for technical support on Windows hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems across various systems and applications
• Provide support for Windows operating systems, VMware environments, and backup operations
• Execute routine operational tasks and manage IT asset inventory records
• Document standard procedures for support and operations, contributing to the internal knowledge base
• Assist in coordinating and implementing IT projects
• Offer after-hours system support and emergency troubleshooting when required
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3-5 years of solid experience in Windows system support
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft Azure Cloud services
• Familiarity with virtualisation technologies, particularly VMware
• Sound understanding of storage systems and networking fundamentals
• Strong team collaboration skills, effective communication, and excellent organisational abilities
• Self-driven, proactive, and committed to delivering quality service
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
