Responsibilities
Hands-on ProgrammingFull-stack development contributes to the design of backend, databases and queries, API creations and consumptions, and contributes to frontend UI development.Works independently with minimal insight to develop software that conforms to Visa’s high standards of security, quality, performance, resiliency, and compliance.Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.Improving the productivity of the engineering organization by infusing AI into our coding standards and practices.Proven track record of managing and executing multiple high-impact LLM based projects, balancing delivery speed with quality.Able to showcase the productivity improvement by collecting relevant metrics.Participate in design and code review sessions as appropriate.Provide third-level support to business users.Keep up with current and developing engineering trendsDesign, Architect and Implement high robust system designs as per the growing needsContribute to the roadmap for the productWork with architects, systems analysts, project managers and other developers to efficiently implement business requirements while applying the latest available tools and technology.Requirements
Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experienceNice-to-haves
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or closely related fieldHands-on expertise with Java, Spring, Python and related technologies.Experience in Gen AI, Big data and UI technologies will be an added advantage.Experience with highly distributed, scalable, concurrent and low latency systems working with one or more of the following database technologies: DB2, MySQL and NoSQL data warehouses such as HBase.Highly skilled in realizing the full potential of LLM-based AI frameworks.Ability to work effectively on multiple concurrent assignments with both AI and non-AI application projects.Experience working in an Agile and Test-Driven Development environment.Experience with Continuous Integration and Automated Test tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Git, Selenium, Chef desirable.Strategic thinker and good business acumen to orient data engineering to the business needs of internal clients.Demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, strong attention to detail, team oriented, energetic, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style.Benefits
