• *What are your contributions to the team?**
Be responsible for all procurement related activities for specific commodities of the various product development phases.
Act as a project manager to ensure all procurement related activities are executed as per plan.
Represent Procurement with the various integrated product development team.
Track changes through the management process up to the point of implementation.
Be responsible for contractual negotiations, resulting from product ranges, with external suppliers.
Ensure that correct project tracking and visibility are provided by suppliers for Procurement and other business unit functions.
Support, where applicable, the Procurement commodity team in establishing sourcing strategies for the development programs and draft commercial agreements with the suppliers.
Provide coaching/mentoring to the agents of the team.
• *How to thrive in this role?**
You hold a Bachelor''s degree in Business or equivalent.
You have five (8) to twelve (12) years of experience in the aerospace industry.
You possess experience in contract negotiations with suppliers.
You have experience on development programs (an asset).
You possess technical knowledge (an asset).
You have strong analytical skills.
You possess strong communication skills (French and English).
