Data Engineer/Full Stack Developer Job Description
This role involves managing and executing data recon from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring accuracy, integrity and minimal disruptions to business operations.
• The successful candidate will assess existing data sources, data structures and dependencies, understand business requirements and recon scope, collaborate with business and IT teams to plan data recon timelines and strategies.
• They will design, develop and execute data recon scripts, map, transform and cleanse data to meet the target system's requirements, perform incremental and full data recon with minimal downtime, ensure data integrity, consistency and accuracy.
Key responsibilities include planning and analysis, data extraction, transformation and loading, testing and validation, performance and optimization.
• Possess a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
• 3 to 8 years of experience in developing and supporting Large Scale Systems and applications, with strong object-oriented and core programming skills: Python, Java, TypeScript.
• Proficient in Web services, API technologies and concepts: React, TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server.
