About the Role
We’re looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer who will take ownership of our web application. You will design, build, and scale user-facing products that are fast, reliable, and easy to use. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and leadership to turn ideas into high-quality experiences for customers. This role is ideal for someone who loves building great UI, cares deeply about user experience, and enjoys solving real customer problems.
What
You’ll Do
• Frontend Architecture & Development: Own the overall frontend architecture and set best practices for the team. Build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance web applications using React.js. Convert product designs and wireframes into clean, responsive, and accessible UI. Ensure apps are fast, secure, and work smoothly across devices and browsers. Continuously improve code quality, performance, and developer experience.
• Product & Customer Focus: Work closely with customers, product, and design teams to understand user problems. Turn feedback into meaningful product improvements and new features. Bring a frontend-first mindset to product discussions and help shape the roadmap.
• Technical Leadership: Set coding standards and review code to maintain high quality. Mentor engineers and help grow the frontend team. Challenge outdated patterns and introduce modern frontend tools and practices. Take ownership of key initiatives from idea to production.
What We’re Looking For
• 6+ years of professional experience building web applications.
• Strong expertise in React.js and modern frontend frameworks.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser performance.
• Experience building large-scale, production-ready frontend systems.
• Ability to debug complex issues across frontend and backend.
• Basic understanding of backend systems (Python/Django, APIs, databases).
• Strong ownership mindset – you take responsibility and get things done.
Nice to Have
• Experience improving frontend performance and page load times.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP/AWS) and deployment pipelines.
• Strong interest in UI/UX, accessibility, and design systems.
• Experience in startups or fast-moving environments.
• Passion for learning new tools and keeping up with frontend trends.
