Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Java and AWS Developer with over 10 years of experience to join our team based in San Francisco (Hybrid) within the Pacific Time Zone. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive background in backend technologies and data analytics to design and develop scalable backend systems, robust APIs, and integrate AI/ML for data-driven decision-making. This role emphasizes the importance of design, development, and maintenance of scalable applications, and utilizes data analysis capabilities through Power BI to support business intelligence.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs using JAVA and AWS technologies.
Integrate AI/ML models for predictive analytics and business insights, enhancing decision-making processes.
Ensure application performance, security, and scalability while adhering to the best development practices.
Evaluate and enhance software architecture, ensuring high code quality through TDD with senior tech leads.
Cross-team collaboration to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable application releases.
Must-Have Skills:
10+ Years of extensive experience in Java and AWS
Proficiency in building and integrating APIs
Strong expertise in Power BI for business intelligence
Industry Experience:
Candidates with hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, as well as those familiar with Agile methodology, cloud technologies, and CI/CD practices, will be highly preferred. Familiarity with containerized platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes is also beneficial.
