About the Role
As a Power Supply Electrical Engineer, you’ll support the full lifecycle of product development—from concept through production. Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting design, development, and sustaining engineering activities across electrical, manufacturing, and test teams
• Using design tools for schematics, PCB layout, and circuit simulation
• Working with analog circuits, sensors, AC/DC power supplies, and communication interfaces (Ethernet/IP, 4–20 mA, RS‑485, etc.)
• Performing design verification testing, analyzing results, and ensuring products meet specifications
• Participating in design reviews and collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines
• Troubleshooting electrical circuits at the block or component level
• Improving product manufacturability, reducing cost, and enhancing reliability
• Working with external vendors and contractors to develop subsystems
• Using analysis tools for thermal modeling, control algorithms, and magnetics design
• Creating test plans, executing testing, and documenting findings
• Maintaining all design documentation — schematics, BOMs, specs, manuals
Tools & Software You’ll Use
Experience with any of the following is helpful:
• Microsoft Office Suite
• CSI
• UKG
• SolidWorks
• Altium
• Mathcad
• SPICE‑based simulation (Simetrix, etc.)
What They’re Looking For
• 7+ years of experience in the industrial power supply space
• Strong knowledge of high‑voltage / high‑current design from PCB through final assembly
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and improve existing designs
• Experience in plating/surface‑finish power design is a bonus
