Rotation/Shifts Days, Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts (07:30-15:30). • For information purposes only - The Hospital reserves the right to change. Salary Information The hourly rate includes a $4.50 market premium. Responsibilities To test and repair all sprinkler systems and equipment, to ensure they are functioning in a safe and reliable manner as required by the Ontario Fire Code. To alter, maintain and troubleshoot the sprinkler system as per the Ontario Fire Code. To perform maintenance as required by all other applicable codes governing Sprinkler Systems. Basic Requirements • 427A Ontario College of Trades Sprinkler and Fire Protection Installer Certification; • Canadian Automatic Sprinkler Association - Certified Inspector; • Three (3) years of relevant experience, achieved within the last 5 years; • Good written and oral communication skills in the English language; • Ability to interact well with a variety of individuals; • Use of various types of meters, two-way portable radio paging systems; • Ability to read blueprints and schematics; • Good diagnosis skills; • Basic computer skills.
