Thanks • Chandler, AZ (2595 W Chandler Blvd, Chandler AZ 85224) • Jersey City, NJ (101 Hudson St, Jersey City NJ 07302) • ***Potentially open to Chicago, IL for the right candidates Duration: 12+mo contract, potential to extend to 24, potential for conversion Top Skills: • Splunk Dashboard creation/manipulation/configuration (client to server, agents, troubleshooting, etc.) • JavaScript/SQL • Unix/Linux/Windows (60/40 Unix) • Dynatrace Job Description: • Solutions Engineer II for delivery of GBAM global monitoring Strategy Rollout of Dynatrace as the strategic monitoring tool across banking applications, replacing AppDynamics. • SME for GBAM monitoring tools that form part of the global monitoring strategy. • Monitoring setup for Applications on Cloud and Containers infrastructure. • Lead the deployment and integration of new monitoring tools across the GBAM organization and applications. • Host demos, overviews and training of the monitoring tools for adoption across teams, preparing related materials to support sessions and adoption of tools (presentations, operational manuals etc.). • Liaise with regional technical leads in the planning and scheduling of deployments. • Consult with the local teams and assist in configuration of monitoring events/dashboards to maximize the potential use of monitoring tools. • Preparation of regional reporting of monitoring tools adoption and other related data points and other relevant metrics. • Participate in global discussions on the continuation and evolution on global monitoring strategy. • Drive application event-based automation. • Experience with Splunk. Desired Skills: • Dynatrace • Splunk Enterprise including the deployment, instrumentation and leveraging of the tool for analytical and alerting capabilities • Proven experience with supporting monitoring tools such as - Tivoli, Microfocus BPM, Sitescope, Dynatrace, Catchpoint etc. • Knowledge of OS (Windows/Unix) based infrastructure services, processing, monitoring, shell scripts, etc. - Proven experience in programming languages (Java and/or .NET) • Proven experience in application/network performance and availability monitoring - Proven experience in N-Tier Architecture supporting a multitude of products (Webserver, Middleware, Database, etc.) • Knowledge of ITIL functions and processes • An excellent communicator, able to network and influence across multiple levels is required of this role • A self-motivated, hands-on, driven individual with strong leadership skills • A strategic thinker who can link business context to technical reality .
