Job purpose:
Reports to the lead with dotted line to testing discipline, dedicated and part of the core delivery team.
Completes both system integration and user acceptance testing.
Ensures developed solution is conforming to the requirements and meeting the definition of done.
Fits well with the systems and the solution is acceptable to the business teams.
Strong technical background with key focus on automation.
Key accountabilities:
Generic accountability
• Adhering to the automation transformation KPI that is governed by the Test CoE.
• Responsible for ensuring that the data captured in the test management tools are accurate and concise.
• Dedicate 20% of the time to the guild set up by the testing CoE.
• Knowledge about IPO, securities, crypto systems and related flows.
Job context:
• Seconded from Testing CoE and accountable engineering lead.
• Conducts SIT and UAT assessments of the developed features and functionalities.
• Conformity of developed solution and meeting the definition of done.
• Ensure that the adherence is 100% compliant to the testing framework.
• Strong technical background in development and coding practices.
• Timely delivery is maintained for all testing deliverables.
• Gap identification in automation capability to be timeously highlighted, owned and driven with the testing CoE.
Qualifications & experience:
Minimum qualification
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline.
Minimum experience
• Has 2 years experience in digital transformation and agile ways of working.
• 3+ years of experience in functional testing - manual and automation.
• Banking and financial services domain knowledge is a must, specifically in investment banking.
• Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver and core Java.
• Good understanding of TestNG, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of SVN, CVS, XPath, XML, and JavaScript experience.
• Good understanding of version control like SVN, GIT, Bitbucket.
• Maintaining automation framework as per requirement.
• Ability to learn new testing tools quickly.
• Good communication skills and Arabic reading.
• Strong self-management skills.
• Exposure to working on agile projects.
• Exposure to HP ALM and Jira tool.
