The Solution Architect (SA) is responsible for defining solution architecture for specific projects while collaborating with business leaders to build a roadmap aligned with organizational needs. The role involves analyzing business requirements and designing technology solutions that comply with enterprise architecture principles and BRP's current context. Responsibilities - Design solution architecture covering Business, Application, Information, and Technology domains through architecture documentation. - Develop and implement infrastructure solutions to meet client needs (requirements assessment, infrastructure selection, secure and scalable design). - Provide expertise in migrating applications and infrastructure to the Cloud (readiness assessment, planning, migration strategy). - Ensure solutions comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements (security protocols, data encryption, cloud security configuration). - Collaborate with teams to align solutions with organizational strategy. - Estimate costs and prepare business cases for IT solutions (infrastructure, licenses, development, support). Qualifications and Skills - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience. - Minimum 10 years of IT experience, including 5 years in information system design. - Expertise in designing and implementing infrastructure solutions (Windows/Linux servers, VDI, virtualization, networking). - Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, cybersecurity, identity management, backup and recovery, monitoring tools, IaC. - Proficiency with Microsoft technologies (Azure, SharePoint, OneDrive, M365). - Knowledge of Cloud technologies (IaaS, CaaS, SaaS, PaaS) on Azure, GCP, and AWS. - Familiarity with Agile methodology. - Experience in factory IT environments. - Strategic business acumen and ability to align information systems with organizational strategy. - Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Experience collaborating across teams and providing leadership. - Strong analytical and conceptual skills with creative problem-solving abilities. - Knowledge of enterprise architecture methodologies (TOGAF, Archimate or equivalent). - Bilingual (French & English) required for global stakeholder interactions. - Efficiency and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000–$135.000.
