Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design and architectural vision for enterprise-level cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including blueprints, design specifications, and deployment diagrams.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies and trends, recommending their adoption to enhance our infrastructure and services.
• Ensure all cloud solutions comply with security standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand needs and align cloud strategies with business objectives.
• Perform architectural reviews and provide constructive feedback on proposed designs and implementations.
• Drive initiatives for cloud cost optimization, performance tuning, and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 4 years specifically in cloud solution architecture.
• Deep expertise in designing and implementing solutions on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of cloud security best practices, networking, and identity management.
• Proven ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Professional cloud architect certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.
• Familiarity with data architecture principles and big data technologies in the cloud.
• Prior experience in financial services, healthcare, or similar regulated industries.
• Experience mentoring junior architects and leading technical workshops.
