Job Description:
The main function of the Software Tester is to contribute to the overall improvement of QA Methods, process and approaches.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases
• Perform setup and maintenance of test environments
• Perform defect reporting and verification
• Lead process improvement and adoption of industry best practices including the review and selection of software tools and processes
• Devise and promote strategies, approaches, tools and techniques for the efficient development, maintenance and execution of automated tests
Skills:
• Expert knowledge of software development and QA processes and methodologies
• Working knowledge in n-tier and client-server architectures and web technologies
Education/Experience:
• Technical Diploma or an equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, abilities and work experience
• 5-7 years of software testing experience with at least 1 year at the senior level
