Job Summary
You will apply your expertise in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and programming to support and enhance data engineering and analytics initiatives. Collaborate with data teams to deliver scalable, efficient solutions while mentoring peers and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
• Implement and manage DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and infrastructure changes, ensuring reliability and scalability
• Develop and maintain infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to support data engineering workloads and applications
• Apply programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, Terraform, SQL, and Python to build, test, and deploy cloud-based solutions and data processing workflows
• Utilize AWS architecture concepts including VPCs, PrivateLink, and Route 53 to design secure and efficient network infrastructures
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to embed DevOps best practices and support data analytics projects with minimal software engineering mentorship
• Analyze and optimize distributed computing frameworks such as Spark to improve data processing performance (bonus skill)
• Lead initiatives to identify and implement improvements in processes, tools, and technologies to enhance team productivity and solution quality
• Mentor and share knowledge with team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
• Adapt to evolving project requirements and pivot towards gaining new skills in data engineering and analytics domains
Required competencies and certifications
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or related fields
Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks such as Spark is advantageous
• Experience working independently and as a motivated team player with a passion for continuous improvement
