Software Engineer
where you will work on the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program.

This position does not support teleworking
; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.
What does this role look like?
You will work on a dynamic team environment performing software engineering tasks in support of the THAAD Missile Test Equipment (MTE) team.
The THAAD Missile Test Equipment is responsible for maintaining several production missile test consoles deployed at a remote production test facility. Production support for the consoles includes diagnosing root cause for issues found during missile testing and deploying software updates to resolve the issue to enable efficient production test operations. The MTE group is also responsible for maintaining and support several remote, ruggedized test consoles that are deployed and support CONUS and OCONUS missions.
There are opportunities to support the consoles at their test sites. The team is looking for motivated members who can rapidly support planning, execution, and coordination of software development activities.
We need you to adhere to or define appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle and be capable of rapidly designing, implementing, documenting and deploying robust software solutions.
Key Activities You Will Accomplish In This Role
Work on software design, development, test and maintenance for the THAAD missile test consoles.
Develop, integrate, maintain and document software as defined by technical leadership.

To Be Effective In This Role, You Will Need
Recent coding experience.
8+ years professional experience.
While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a
Secret clearance
, thus
US Citizenship
is required.

Desired Skills
Active DOD Secret clearance.
Familiarity with the THAAD weapon system.
Proficient in multiplatform test console design, integration and test.
Hands-on lab experience, including integration or systems engineering experience.
Computer system administration and working with Software Quality Assurance personnel.
Experience in Agile software development.
Experience in real-time simulation development.
Experience with GIT, Subversion, JIRA, BitBucket, Gitlab, Jenkins.
Certified Test Conductor (CTC) or similar responsibility.
Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) or similar responsibility.
