Overview
Our client is a leading international banking group with a strong presence across the Asia Pacific region.
We are currently supporting them to hire for a Java Developer role in the local Trading Apps team. The candidate will be primarily involved in building an state-of-the-art software testing framework for a critical FO application.
Responsibilities
• Technically Specify, Design, Develop, Test and Maintain FO systems for Equity Derivatives desks.
• Work closely with the team on establishing a new automated testing framework for a critical system which is connected to multiple FO systems (pricing, trading, booking, etc.).
• Integrate with existing DEVOPS pipeline, introducing automation whenever applicable.
• Follow our SDLC standards: user JIRA, implement unit tests, add and maintain documentation, communicate clearly all changes, provide deployment instructions and training when necessary
• Ensure effective and timely resolution of incidents
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
• 3-5 years of solid experience with IT development in banking industry
• Strong background in Java/C++, with Rust/Cucumber is a plus.
• Good understanding of best practices of testing in agile development.
• Experience in OOAD, multi-threading, cross-platform development (Linux/Windows)
• Strong communication, problem solving analytical skills and strong team spirit
