We are hiring an Equities Site Reliability Engineer to join one of the world’s most well-known and globally renowned hedge funds in Hong Kong. Technology is central to the business, and reliability, performance, and automation are critical at every level.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Owning the reliability, availability, and performance of critical trading and analytics systems
• Taking applications from development into production and supporting them throughout their lifecycle
• Driving automation to eliminate manual work and resolve systemic issues
• Leading incident response, debugging, and root cause analysis
• Partnering closely with application engineers to build production-ready systems
• Continuously improving infrastructure efficiency, resilience, and security
What We’re Looking For
• Strong computer science fundamentals and an automation-first SRE mindset
• Experience operating or building reliable, large-scale systems in demanding environments
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language
• Comfort working with Linux, networking fundamentals, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps tooling
• Backgrounds from top-tier technology firms or leading buy-side / sell-side institutions are highly valued
• A collaborative mindset, strong ownership, and a desire to improve how systems are run
