Skills and Preferred Qualifications
• First line support and root cause problem diagnosis within a real-time, distributed environment.
• Trading desk support experience and knowledge of trading systems and applications.
• Large-scale application and infrastructure capacity planning and deployment.
• Organizing application migrations and infrastructure upgrades.
• Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux command line.
• Understanding of operating system performance tuning.
• Good understanding of the usage of TCP/IP and UDP networking in applications.
• Good understanding of network routing and troubleshooting.
• Good experience in writing SQL database queries.
• Good experience in Bash, Python or other scripting language.
