Responsibilities: • Maintain compliance with all corporate, divisional, and regulatory requirements • Serve as the subject matter expert for U.S. import and export regulations • Lead customs and trade compliance initiatives at the site and divisional level • Respond to Customs Broker Requests for Information accurately and on time • Collaborate with logistics, purchasing, and materials management teams on customs matters • Deliver targeted compliance training to internal stakeholders • Support corrective actions resulting from corporate customs and trade compliance assessments • Ensure accurate classification, valuation, and country-of-origin determination for all imports • Liaise with affiliates and third-party suppliers to ensure compliant import documentation • Analyze import/export data to identify compliance risks and cost-saving opportunities • Provide analytical support for CBP Requests for Information, Post-Entry Amendments, and Prior Disclosures • Support reconciliation reporting related to price adjustments, royalties, and financial elements • Conduct Free Trade Agreement (FTA) eligibility assessments to optimize duty savings • Perform additional duties as required Requirements: • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada • 5–6+ years of experience in import/export operations, international trade, or a related field • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related discipline • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) preferred • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment
