Position Overview:
Our client in the higher education space is looking for a UI/UX Designer who has experience working on websites built in Sitecore to help elevate the quality, usability, and consistency of their website experience. This opportunity will be fully remote, 40 hours a week for 2-3 months.
Responsibilities:
UI Design and Prototyping within Sitecore, which will include:
- Create high-fidelity, responsive UI designs aligned with university brand standards
- Build interactive prototypes and clear specs for stakeholder review and developer handoff
- Ensure all designs meet WCAG 2.1+ accessibility requirements
Sitecore Focused Design:
- Develop purposeful layout mockups and refine them with stakeholders to reach the best UX.
- Design modular components aligned with Sitecore's architecture.
- Optimize layouts for personalization and analytics.
- Provide design documentation supporting a smooth Sitecore implementation.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of UI/UX design experience, preferably with large, content heavy websites.
- Demonstrated experience designing for Sitecore (templates, components, layouts), preferably within Sitecore SXA or Sitecore 10.x environments
- Content strategy experience around information architecture and asset structuring.
- Strong portfolio of responsive design work, prototypes, and visual design systems.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of usability principles and web accessibility standards.
- Ability to translate requirements into clear, visually compelling design solutions.
- Understanding of HTML/CSS would be preferred
