Job Summary The Senior Training Specialist - Field is a senior-level clinical educator responsible for driving market-level training strategy, provider readiness, and EMR leadership. Serving as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to clinical and operational leaders, this role executes complex Go-Lives and leads advanced clinical education initiatives across multiple markets, with a specific focus on new market launches and joint ventures. The Senior Training Specialist designs facilitates and evaluates onboarding and continuous learning programs while partnering directly with Medical Directors and Market Leaders to ensure Epic proficiency and consistent standards of care. This position requires frequent travel, the ability to operate independently in complex environments, and the high level of clinical credibility necessary to influence senior stakeholders. Qualifications Education Required: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Graduate from an accredited clinical program, including but not limited to: • Medical Assistant • EMT • Paramedic • Registered Nurse (RN) Licenses/Certifications Required: • Active, unrestricted clinical license in state of employment (as applicable to role) • Required certifications (e.g., BLS, NCCT, RMA, etc.) • Epic Credential Trainer (or ability to obtain within defined timeframe) Work Experience Required: • 6+ years of progressive clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, outpatient, or acute care settings • 2+ years of formal clinical education, training, or precepting experience Preferred Qualifications, Education, Licenses, Certifications, Experience, etc.: • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, nursing, education, or related field. • Experience supporting new joint ventures, acquisitions, or Go-Live events. • Prior experience working across multiple markets or regions. • Experience facilitating learning for providers, Medical Directors, and senior clinical leaders (e.g. advanced practice leads). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • This role is patient-facing, involves interaction and collaboration with other departments and requires excellent judgment and interpersonal skills • Advance understanding of clinical operations, workflows, and regulatory requirements. • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority at the market and executive level. • Strong facilitation skills with experience leading physician and provider-level forums. • Expertise in Epic workflows, clinical documentation standards, and optimization. • Ability to assess marker-specific needs and tailor training strategies accordingly. • High degree of autonomy, adaptability, and comfort operating in ambiguous environments. Projects excellent customer relations in all interactions Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Serve as a senior EMR training expert and advisor. • Mentor and coach Training Specialists I and II. - Identify training risks and implement mitigation strategies. • Own training strategy and execution for assigned markets. - Lead complex Go-Lives and new market launches end-to-end. • Partner with Market Presidents, Directors of Operations, and Clinical Leadership to assess readiness, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies that influence operational decisions. • Facilitate and lead Medical Director forums and provider education sessions, tailoring content to address market-specific needs and enterprise priorities. • Translate enterprise clinical initiatives into actionable education programs, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practice and regulatory standards. • Act as a trusted advisor to Medical Directors and providers, providing consultative guidance on clinical workflows, Epic optimization, and compliance requirements. • Function as an Epic Credentialed Trainer, designing and delivering advanced EMR training aligned with GoHealth workflows and documentation standards; advise on system enhancements. • Collaborate with EMR Training and Clinical Learning teams to refine system-based education and propose enterprise-level improvements based on market feedback. • Design and deliver advanced onboarding and upskilling programs for clinical roles (MAs, RNs, Radiologic Technologists) and providers, adapting strategies to market complexity. • Lead culture orientation and clinical readiness programs for new markets, ensuring consistency and operational alignment. • Analyze training effectiveness using competency validation, assessments, and market feedback, preparing insights and recommendations for enterprise learning strategy. • Identify trends and gaps across markets, influencing enterprise-level education initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. • Provide oversight and validation of Training Coaches/Learning Coaches, mentoring and guiding their development to ensure quality and consistency. • Serve as a mentor and escalation resource for complex clinical or training issues, supporting succession planning and capability building within the learning function. Additional Requirements • Office Environment: Tasks may be conducted within a climate-controlled office setting. • Physical Activity: The role may require the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials, supplies, and equipment (up to 50 lbs.) Duties typically involve a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent changes in position. • Travel: Travel is required, including travel between Company locations and out-of-town destinations as needed, up to 50% or more, based on business needs and training requests. • Schedule: Weekend availability is required, based on business needs. • Safety Equipment: May require the use of safety equipment for infection prevention.
