About The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to deliver strong customer engagement and advanced technical support for our wireless network solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep 5GNR/LTE expertise, solid wireless knowledge, and hands-on deployment experience. This role requires the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to customers and executives, along with strong networking and troubleshooting skills. Practical experience supporting real-world 5G, 4G or Wi-Fi deployments is highly valued. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
• Deliver advanced technical support for 5GNR, LTE and Wi-Fi deployments, resolving complex RAN, core and end-to-end connectivity issues.
• Perform detailed network performance analysis, identify connectivity bottlenecks and troubleshoot at the packet level using tools such as Wireshark.
• Configure and optimize network switching components including VLANs, static routes and QoS policies to ensure smooth solution integration.
• Work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to design, deploy and enhance wireless network architectures across 5GNR, Wi-Fi and LTE use cases.
• Clearly communicate technical solutions and root-cause findings to technical teams, customers and executives.
• Create thorough documentation of technical issues, configurations and resolutions to support knowledge sharing and streamlined workflows.
• Provide hands-on support during customer lab and field trials, including system integration, testing, and performance validation.
What We’d Love To See:
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud communication protocol (HTTP/HTTPS, MGTT, WebSocket), firewall/NAT configurations, and port management to support cloud-based applications and device-to-cloud interactions.
• Skilled in using observability and analytical platforms (Grafana, Elastic, Spark) to monitor system health, analyze performance trends, and proactively resolve issues.
• Proficient in virtualization and containerization technologies including VMware, KVM, Docker and Kubernetes for NFV environments; relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP or equivalent) are an asset.
What We’re Looking For:
• Master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in technical support, network engineering, or systems integration in the wireless networking domain.
• Hands on experience configuring and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure seamless solution integration across diverse environments.
• Extensive expertise in 5GNR technologies including gNodeB, 5GC and full end-to-end 5G architecture with a strong foundational understanding of LTE systems such as eNodeB and EPC.
• Strong 5GNR/LTE protocol knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and debug device-related issues.
• Advanced understanding of the wireless network protocols (S1AP, NGAP, RRC, NAS) and their integration with cloud and edge platforms.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% to support field activities, customer trials, and on-site troubleshooting.
