Position Summary
The position is based at KRE8+, an applied research and development center under HCT, specializing in smart sensor–integrated systems for industrial applications. KRE8+ supports industry partners by delivering hightech, practical solutions through applied research, offering specialized expertise, advanced equipment, and collaborative project execution.
The primary objective of this role is to lead applied research and development activities in applied computer vision for industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong research background combined with practical industry experience in designing and implementing cuttingedge computer vision solutions.

Lead applied research and development initiatives in applied computer vision for industry use cases.
Operational Responsibilities
• Conduct advanced research in applied computer vision to support industry-driven projects.
• Develop innovative industrial applications based on computer vision technologies.
• Provide practical implementation support for KRE8+ projects requiring computer vision solutions.
• Advise and assist faculty on best practices related to applied computer vision. Propose meaningful and relevant sophomore project topics for HCT students in the domain of computer vision.
Leadership Responsibilities
• Contribute to the development of academic course materials related to applied computer vision.
