Senior QA Engineer – RDK-B / CPE Testing
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite – Only Local Candidates)
Experience: 8–10 Years
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in RDK-B products and CPE device testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across multiple testing types, a solid understanding of home networking technologies, and the ability to work onsite while collaborating closely with product and development teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform White Box and Black Box testing of CPE products and interfaces
• Execute various types of testing, including functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing
• Test and validate RDK-B based products for stability, performance, and reliability
• Perform hands-on testing of device/consumer products, preferably in high-performance video applications
• Collaborate with Product and Development teams to define product and technical requirements
• Review and verify requirements and design specifications with a focus on product testability and verification
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• 8–10 years of QA testing experience with hands-on exposure to multiple testing types
• Strong experience in RDK-B product testing
• Basic understanding of LAN/WAN architectures and Wi-Fi standards
• Strong knowledge of home networking protocols and technologies, including:
• Wi-Fi
• Bluetooth
• Zigbee
• DLNA
• Experience testing CPE devices or consumer electronics is highly preferred
