Senior Python Developer with GenAI, LLM

Position Title: Senior Python Developer with GenAI, LLM Location: Jersey City, New Jersey 07310 (5 Days Onsite) Duration: 6 Months (Contract to hire) Level - 603 Tech Screening - Glider / Manual Job Description: Proficiency in Python and experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent). Hands-on experience developing prompt chains or generative workflows using OpenAI or similar APIs. Understanding of AI governance, model uncertainty, and prompt versioning best practices. Must Have: GenAI, OpenAI Cloud Python Workflow Nice to have: LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent) Knowledge of Data integration Job Description: • Expert in at least one technology and design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs (e.g., Expert Engineers) starting to be firm-wide resources working on projects across Client • Is multi-skilled with expertise across software development lifecycle and toolset • May be recognized as a leader in Agile and cultivating teams working in Agile frameworks • Sought out as coach for at least one technical skill • Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, security • Stays abreast of cutting-edge technologies/trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies/trends to support the business; may give speeches and outside the firm, writes articles Roles and Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain AI workflows using Python and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain or similar) to automate generation tasks across multiple domains. • Design and refine prompts for large language models, optimizing for accuracy, tone, and consistency across use cases. • Integrate LLMs with existing systems and data sources within secure, cloud-hosted environments (e.g., AWS or equivalent). • Implement quality controls and human-in-the-loop mechanisms to ensure compliance and reproducibility of results. • Document processes and frameworks, supporting governance, version control, and knowledge transfer across teams. Additional Skills: • Proficiency (3 plus years) in Python and experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent). • Hands-on experience developing prompt chains or generative workflows using OpenAI or similar APIs. • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and enterprise data integration practices. • Understanding of AI governance, model uncertainty, and prompt versioning best practices. • Strong communication and documentation skills, especially for cross-functional collaboration with product, risk, and compliance teams.
