Job Summary
We are looking for several high-caliber Senior Python Developers (9+ years) for high-impact contract roles in Downtown Toronto. These positions are ideal for veteran developers who enjoy "boots-on-the-ground" collaboration and have the architectural depth to handle complex system design and large-scale data flows in a 100% on-site environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Backend Mastery: Develop and scale mission-critical backend services using Python.
• Data Integrity: Design and optimize complex SQL queries and database schemas for massive datasets.
• Asynchronous Flows: Implement and maintain message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.) to ensure resilient, event-driven architectures.
• Architecture & Design: Lead system design discussions and provide high-level technical documentation for distributed systems.
• On-Site Leadership: Work 5 days a week at our client sites in Downtown Toronto to collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff.
Required Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum 9+ years of professional software development experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a reputed Canadian university.
• Core Skills: Expert Python, advanced SQL, and proven System Design experience.
• Availability: Must be able to commit to 37.5 hours per week on-site.
