Key Responsibilities:
Act as a technical advisor to the sales team, supporting business development and closing opportunities. Analyze customer requirements and propose optimized technical solutions aligned with project needs and company offerings. Prepare and review technical proposals, specifications, BOQs, and cost estimations. Lead technical discussions, presentations, and clarifications with customers, consultants, and stakeholders. Coordinate with engineering, project, and operations teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy of proposed solutions. Review tender documents, RFQs, and RFPs, ensuring full compliance with technical and commercial requirements. Conduct product demonstrations, technical workshops, and value engineering sessions when required. Support negotiations by addressing technical queries and risks during pre-award stages. Stay updated on market trends, technologies, and competitor solutions to enhance proposal quality and competitiveness. Mentor junior presales engineers and contribute to improving presales processes and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical or related field).8 to 12 years of proven experience in a Presales or Technical Sales role. Strong technical background with the ability to translate customer requirements into practical solutions. Experience in preparing technical submittals, proposals, and cost estimates. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work closely with sales, engineering, and management teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
