We are pleased to announce this incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of **Qatar Airways Cargo’s Operations Team** as **Senior Manager Cargo Network Operations Performance and Handling **in our office in **Doha**.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling the operations worldwide including Doha as Hub. This involves all the activities pertaining to, but not limited to, Safety, Security, Cargo Handling (Pax and Freighter), quality standards, audit schedules, contract negotiation and evaluation, compliance and related manuals. You will work closely in implementing effective contracts with all third-party suppliers to optimize productivity, efficiency, safety and security.
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the Network Operations, Trucking and Freighter Operations including Load Masters, Special Loads, Charters, Load Controls, and Rostering
- Implement a strategic approach to all Safety and Security requirements to ensure “best practice” and in full accordance with all regulatory and company requirements (aligned with the Corporate Security and Safety Teams).
- Develop and implement a cost strategy to ensure continuous evaluation of contract costs.
- Conduct Ground Handling Agent (GHA) technical performance evaluations based on Cargo IQ
- Service Level Agreement (SLA) implementation and management to ensure consistency of handling and performance
- Revise and update operational evaluation matrix to automatically produce risk assessment document for all new tenders working with QAS as well as Quality and Safety/ Security
- Evaluate and implement team and individuals’ objectives, plans, procedures, SOP management and implementation and deliver change when required
- Drive and implement a competency-based approach for all staff to ensure the required standards and ability is available to support the department, and is regularly tested to ensure consistent quality is maintained

• *About you**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 10 years of job-related experience, preferably in a senior managerial level for at least 2 years
- Knowledge of cargo operations, supply chain management, freighter and ramp operations, trucking (RFS) and contract management
- Strong knowledge of compliance and safety
- Strong vendor management
- Expertise in IATA Cargo/ Ramp Handling Procedures and Regulations
- Financial knowledge and cost control competencies
- High analytical and project management skills
- Experience in collaborating and leading a multi-cultural and diverse workforce
- Data driven and possess highly developed critical thinking, analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, among others)
