Job Description:
Senior Magento Front-End Developer
Client is looking for an experienced Magento Front-End Developer with e-Commerce experience to join the Magento team in developing the client's new website.
You will work along the side of graphic designers and developers to create Magento templates and HTML pages using BlueFoot CMS & Page Builder.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Translate technical requirements and mockups into fully functioning responsive templates and web pages using HTML/CSS/JS and utilizing BlueFoot CMS.
• Ensure quality assurance across all platforms, devices and browsers.
• Troubleshoot any front-end technical or performance issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers during the development process.
EXPERIENCE &
KEY SKILLS:
• 6+ years' experience in front-end development.
• Magento 2 and BlueFoot CMS experience a must.
• Experience translating PSD comps and annotated wireframes into flexible HTML templates.
• Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues.
• Familiarity with usability guidelines and W3C AAA accessibility standards.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript and jQuery, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience working on e-commerce projects.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong attention to details.
