Nosis Bio is an AI biotech on a mission to end chronic disease. We are looking for a world-class machine learning scientist to join us on the mission to make these computationally designed therapeutics the standard-of-care for all chronic diseases.
About the role
Nosis Bio’s deep learning platform is critical to the success of its mission to solve drug delivery. We are looking for a top notch ML engineer to play an instrumental role in enhancing and scaling the platform. In this role, you will work on a variety of impactful and interesting projects, including finding and transforming new datasets, enhancing the efficiency of deep learning algorithms on GPUs, and productionalizing ML workflows. If you have a proven track record of solving challenging problems through first principles thinking and want to join a collaborative and mission-driven team, then we want to talk to you!
What we are looking for
• Four-year degree in a quantitative field (computer science, math, physics, statistics, etc).
• 3+ years of experience deploying and productionizing machine learning algorithms (startup experience highly preferred).
• Strong proficiency with Python.
• Experience with one or more deep learning frameworks such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, JAX, Keras.
• Comfortable working with various data science and data engineering tools such as scikit-learn, pandas, Spark, AWS Sagemaker, PostgreSQL etc.
• Deep experience working with GPUs/TPUs
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and their various services (AWS EC2, S3, Athena, Kinesis, Lambda, Kafka and/or Google Cloud Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, BigTable, etc).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in highly collaborative environments.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Experience in the life sciences is not required, but you must be interested and able to learn molecular and structural biology concepts quickly.
