Description & Requirements Maximus is seeking a dynamic Senior IT Solutions Architect to spearhead our architectural initiatives and estimation processes aimed at elevating business operations through innovative technology. In this essential role, you will be instrumental in formulating competitive solutions, providing guidance throughout the opportunity lifecycle with your top-down estimation expertise. This position offers the flexibility of remote work. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop leading-edge solutions utilizing advanced technologies, ensuring architectures are scalable and adaptable. • Create engaging presentations and demonstrations of technical solutions tailored to various stakeholder audiences. • Collaborate with internal and external teams to advance open-source projects across diverse technologies. • Work closely with teams to design effective technical solutions, overseeing the implementation process to ensure success. • Partner with delivery teams to guarantee a seamless implementation of solutions. • Mentor junior Solution Architects, providing coaching and training to nurture professional growth. • Engage with pricing and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and actionable. • Lead significant solution components within capture teams for competitive proposals. • Translate client requirements into actionable solution components and architectural designs. • Manage large-scale strategic initiatives with cross-functional teams. • Facilitate collaboration among business leaders, customers, and technical teams to outline priorities and constraints. • Build and maintain customer trust through the consistent delivery of tailored solutions. • Support technology transitions with practical training and guidance. • Assist in the proposal review process, including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs. • Provide technical support during proposal phases regarding technology stacks and implementation methodologies. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree is preferred. • 10+ years of relevant professional experience, emphasizing technical estimation and bid development. • Strong understanding of state and federal proposal processes. • Proven track record in leading top-down estimates and BOE development using a variety of estimation techniques. • Excellent communication skills, particularly with non-technical personnel, and ability to contribute positively in collaborative settings. • Strong written and verbal communication skills for captivating presentations to senior management. • Ability to convey complex architectural concepts to diverse audiences. • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment across multiple time zones. • Familiarity with compliance standards and industry norms relevant to solution architectures. • Innovative mindset with a solid understanding of current cloud solutions from leading providers. • Eagerness to engage in innovation initiatives and collaborative opportunities within multifaceted teams. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: • Experience in healthcare managed services, particularly in public health domains. • Familiarity with the US Federal sector and its competitive review practices. • A project management background combined with solution architecture experience is a plus. • Technical proficiency in creating scalable enterprise applications. • Experience contributing to Black Hat reviews, market analysis, and proposal strategy development is an advantage.
