Our client is a software company whose product caters to the insurance industry. They have an immediate need for a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives supporting enterprise-level business operations. The ideal candidate has a proven track record overseeing full-cycle software implementation projects, strong stakeholder management skills, and ideally will bring experience working within the insurance industry.
Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of software implementation projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, business analysts, and vendor partners.
• Manage project scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, and communication to all stakeholders.
• Drive requirements gathering, solution design reviews, testing cycles, and production rollout.
• Monitor budget, resource allocation, and project performance metrics to ensure successful delivery.
• Facilitate status meetings, executive updates, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security practices, and regulatory requirements common in the insurance domain.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 7+ years of IT project management experience, including ownership of software implementation or system integration initiatives.
• Experience delivering projects within the financial and/or insurance industry (P&C, life, health, underwriting, policy admin, claims, or related systems).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and enterprise technology environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or similar certifications are a plus.
Additional Details:
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (W2 only, no C2C).
Salary: $85 – $95 / per Hour
