We are seeking a Senior IT Operations / Production Support Engineer to support 24x7 Remote Operations Centers (ROC) for Oil & Gas upstream environments, including wells, drilling, artificial lift, water, and pipelines.
This role focuses on real-time system monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, and system reliability for mission-critical applications and control systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide real-time monitoring and production support for applications, servers, networks, and operational systems.
• Act as the first point of contact for incidents, alerts, and system outages.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, and performance issues within defined SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and support permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• Escalate complex incidents to L2/L3 teams and vendors as needed.
• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, security, and business teams during live incidents.
• Maintain incident documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Support SCADA and oilfield systems to ensure high availability and accurate data.
Required Qualifications
• 5–10 years of experience in IT Operations or Production Support.
• Strong experience supporting 24x7 mission-critical environments.
• Hands-on troubleshooting across applications, servers, and networks.
• Excellent communication and incident coordination skills.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night), 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Oil & Gas Upstream operations.
• Exposure to SCADA or oilfield systems such as Corva, WellView, XSPOC, StarSteer, Enverus, InterACT (SLB), Halliburton tools, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with vendor-supported industrial applications.
