The role
We’re looking for a very senior, highly autonomous full-stack engineer—someone who can take an ambiguous problem, turn it into a clear plan, and ship a high-quality solution end-to-end. You’ll work directly with the founders and have significant ownership over product execution and technical direction, touching everything from AI systems and user-facing features to backend infrastructure.
If you’re happiest when you’re building, shipping, and owning outcomes—not waiting for perfect specs—this role will fit.
What you’ll do
• Drive features from idea → design → implementation → launch → iteration
• Build polished, high-quality user experiences with excellent UX and product craft
• Design backend systems/APIs with strong attention to reliability and performance
• Make pragmatic architecture decisions and unblock the team with strong technical judgment
• Debug hard problems across the stack (performance, edge cases, production issues)
• Move fast while maintaining high standards on the things that matter
What we’re looking for (Senior/Staff/Principal traits)
• Proven senior-level experience shipping production systems and owning complex projects
• Ability to work with minimal oversight and consistently deliver
• Strong generalist engineering fundamentals:
• System design
• Performance and reliability
• Low-level problem solving / debugging
• True full-stack comfort: frontend + backend (a spike in either is a plus)
• Strong product sense: you care about details and believe craft matters

Location & availability requirements (important)
• Must work in-person in our San Francisco office
• Candidates outside California must be able to relocate immediately
• Relocation within 1 month is acceptable
• Relocation in 3–6 months is not acceptable
• Must already be legally allowed to work in the U.S.
• No visa sponsorship preferred
Work trial (required)
• One-week paid work trial
• Must be in-person, Monday–Friday, full-time
• Some flexibility only for exceptional candidates
• Payment is made directly by the company

Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
