They are currently looking for a Senior Drainage Design Engineer to be based in Qatar.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and development of comprehensive drainage systems for various projects, ensuring optimal water management and compliance with regulations.
• Analyze site conditions, conduct hydraulic modeling, and prepare detailed drainage plans and specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, other engineers, and stakeholders throughout the design process to ensure project integration.
• Manage and supervise the work of junior engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and expertise.
• Oversee procurement and contract management for drainage system components, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including design drawings, calculations, and reports.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in drainage design principles and technologies.Qualification & Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from a reputable university in North America, Western Europe, or Australia.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering design, specifically within the water/wastewater management industry.
• Proven experience in asset management, drainage system design, procurement, and contract management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, hydraulic modeling software (e.g., SWMM, HydroCAD), and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Experience working in the GCC region is highly preferred.
