Senior DevOps Engineer CI/CD & Automation

Overview We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and large-scale Jenkins environments. The core focus of this role is designing, maintaining, and migrating complex CI/CD pipelines, including a major migration from Jenkins to GitHub Actions. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain complex Jenkins pipelines using Groovy and Bash • Build and maintain Jenkins shared libraries, reusable pipeline components, and secure credential management • Lead and execute large-scale migration projects from Jenkins to GitHub Actions • Design and manage GitHub Actions workflows across multiple repositories • Configure and manage runners, secrets, authentication, and reusable workflows in GitHub Actions • Develop automation scripts in Bash and Python, including interconnected scripts forming end-to-end pipelines • Use Ansible for automation and configuration management • Provision and manage AWS resources, including: EC2, EKS; IAM roles (EC2, IRSA), STS; VPC and networking components • Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines with various frameworks (including TypeScript-based projects) • Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve pipeline reliability, performance, and security Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps • Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins, including: Groovy and Bash scripting; Jenkinsfiles and credentials; Shared libraries • Proven experience migrating CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins to GitHub Actions • Solid experience with GitHub Actions, including: Multi-repo workflows; Secrets and runner configuration; Authentication and permissions management • Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python • Experience using Ansible for automation • Hands-on experience with AWS, including EC2, EKS, IAM, STS, and VPC • Experience designing and maintaining large-scale CI/CD environments Nice to Have • Experience with Terraform • Experience working with TypeScript-based build pipelines Location: Any location Type of employment: Remote Project: Fintech and crypto solutions Specialization: DevOps StairwaySoft is a global engineering provider of innovative software development services with a team of expert engineers.
