Skills
10+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, focusing on supply chain optimization and inventory allocation
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Pyspark, and SQL
Experience with mathematical programming solvers like Gurobi, Xpress MP, CPLEX, or Google OR Tools
Strong understanding of statistical methods, optimization techniques, and predictive modeling concepts
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Ability to apply analytical models to business use cases
Responsibilities
Refactor the Optimization algorithm written in Python using Object Oriented Programming
Solve business problems in supply chain and optimization within Retail and/or CPG
Analyze large datasets using advanced statistical techniques and data science algorithms
Develop and implement predictive models and optimization algorithms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to replenishment and allocation
Stay informed about industry trends to drive innovation
Coach and collaborate with a growing team of Data Scientists
Qualifications
Proven experience in supply chain optimization and inventory allocation
MS or PhD in Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field
Education Requirements
Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field
