What You’ll Do
Join the team as a senior-level Data Engineer with strong ownership of data pipelines and architectureDesign, build, and maintain reliable ETL pipelines from the ground upWork with large, complex datasets using Python or Java and advanced SQLBuild scalable and efficient data flows and transformations across multiple systemsPartner with data analysts, product managers, and engineers to deliver high-quality, actionable dataEnsure data quality, consistency, performance, and reliability across the data platform
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of experience as a Data EngineerStrong skills in Python or Java for data processingProficient in SQL, especially for querying large datasetsExperience with batch and/or stream data processing pipelinesFamiliarity with cloud-based storage and compute (e.g., AWS S3, EC2, Lambda, GCP Cloud Storage, etc.)Knowledge of data modeling, normalization, and performance optimizationComfortable working in agile, collaborative, and fully remote environmentsFluent in English (spoken and written)
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Experience with Airflow, Kafka, or similar orchestration/message toolsExposure to basic data governance or privacy standardsUnit testing and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
This job is 100% Remote – please ensure you have a comfortable home office setup in your preferred work location.
Salary
Salary range: CA$69,000 - CA$139,000 annually, with final compensation determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the role's scope.
Location:
This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be based in regions that align with the Pacific, Central, or Eastern U.S. time zones to ensure effective collaboration with client and team schedules.

Position Details
This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
