Are you an experienced Senior Data Analyst with expertise in mobile gaming and a passion for driving data-informed strategies?
This is an opportunity to join a growing studio in Riyadh, where you will influence game production, business decisions, and go-to-market strategies by turning player behaviour insights into actionable recommendations.
What you'll be doing:
• Analysing consumer behaviours to generate insights that drive product and business decisions
• Building data solutions for customer segmentation, targeting, churn modelling, lifetime value estimation, forecasting, recommendation systems, and price optimisation
• Structuring experiments and creating mathematical models to identify optimisation opportunities that improve player experience
• Designing and applying testing techniques and methodologies to measure the impact of business initiatives
• Conducting ad-hoc analysis of in-game data and market behaviour within the mobile gaming industry
• Developing clear, effective visualisations to present complex data to stakeholders across multiple departments
• Reporting insights and recommendations to senior leadership and relevant teams including production, user acquisition, monetisation, and marketing
What we're looking for:
• Experience within the mobile gaming industry is essential
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline
• Strong applied statistics knowledge including distributions, regression, and statistical testing
• Proficiency with data science toolkits such as R, NumPy, Weka, or MatLab
• Advanced SQL skills and a deep understanding of RDBMS concepts with experience handling large datasets
• Strong programming and scripting skills in languages such as Python, R, Java, Scala, or Perl
• Experience working with data pipelines and modelling in production environments
• Ability to communicate results visually and work effectively with designers, producers, and marketing teams
• High emotional intelligence with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
• Fluent in English, with additional languages considered an advantage
