We are currently seeking a Senior Cloud Architect with a strong focus on Azure to lead the architecture and engineering efforts for our large B2C application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary cloud architect and engineer for our high-traffic B2C application, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
- Design and implement cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, leveraging services such as Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and design principles, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation, including diagrams, design patterns, and best practices.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure, implementing cost-saving measures and ensuring compliance with security and governance policies.
- Lead the migration of on-premises applications to the Azure cloud environment, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale B2C applications in cloud environments.
- Expertise in cloud services, including but not limited to Azure Functions, Azure App Services, and Azure Storage.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
